UTP CAT5 Fascia Panel w/RJ12 Plugs FEATURES: 1. The CAT 5 panel use CAT5 cables which are readily available anywhere. 2. The CAT 5 panel use twice as many wires to connect between panels which allows for much longer runs between panels. If any cab bus item is 30 feet of cable or more from the command station you will need to inject power into the cab bus to make sure a clean signal of minimum 8v gets out to the the devices on the cab bus. The overall goal is this: A minimum of 8v DC as measured on the UTP Panel and cab bus cables between pins 2 and 5 / Black and Yellow. Same six-wire connectors in front as UTP but allows use of off-the-shelf CAT5 cables to connect panel-to-panel at rear. Can be used as a cab bus splitter, and also adds the abilty to add power to the cab bus for larger layouts. The new version has 6 jacks total. 4 RJ12 ( 2 front/ 2 side) / 2-RJ45 in the rear. The 4 RJ12 are standard NCE Cab bus jacks. The 2 RJ45 are standard computer ethernet cable jacks.
